Community Praying

Bible Church Mission is an outreach of the Southern California Regional of IFCA International.

Our purpose

To glorify God by making disciples and planting sound Biblical churches in each area of the Southern California regional of IFCA International.

That work reaches among each of the various ethnic, cultural and language groups of the region — which is why BCM describes itself as an InterCultural Church Development agency rather than simply a church planting one.

BCM is a faith-based ministry, reliant upon the Lord to provide through His people for the financial needs of this ministry. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and contributions are tax-deductible.

The board that guides this work represents over 200 collective years in career ministry.

Varied Methods

Use multiple approaches to start new churches.

07

Sponsoring Church Support

Include partnering churches in the work.

What is a “Bible Church”?

Five marks of a Bible church

Labels establish identity and offer clarity amid many religious options. Not every congregation with these convictions carries “Bible” in its name.

Conservatively Identified

Bible churches identify with the conservative movement within Christianity, holding to high standards of morality and ethics that are taken from the Bible. Scripture is the standard by which life is measured.

Voluntarily Supported

Independent and self-determining, Bible churches are self-supporting. Members give voluntarily and proportionally to sustain local and worldwide mission efforts.

Uniquely Organized

Each congregation establishes its own governance without denominational oversight. Many begin as Bible study groups and connect through fellowships such as IFCA International.

Biblically Balanced

Doctrinal fundamentals are held firmly while remaining responsive to contemporary concerns — spiritual conviction alongside social awareness.

Mutually Committed

These are imperfect congregations marked by shared dedication to God and genuine love among believers.
